TESLIM FOLARIN DECLARED WINNER OF OYO APC GUBER PRIMARY
The three term Senator representing Oyo Central senatorial district at the upper chamber, Senator Teslim Folarin, has won the All Progressives Congress, APC, to fly the party’s flag in Oyo State.
He garnered 954 votes while his closest challenger, Adebayo Adelabu has 327.
His closest challenger and 2019 APC flagbearer, Adebayo Adelabu was unavoidably absent at the venue while another aspirant, Bar Niyi Akintola has earlier withdraw from the primary contest due to earlier alleged suspected irregularity.
Other contestants are Akeem Agbaje, Azeez Adeduntan and Hakeem Alao.
